It's not a review, but a rumor says the book is translated&published soon in Japan. I don't know what kind of readers the publisher is aiming for when we Japanese BL fans are loaded with tons of BL novels and mangas all the time.

When I pick up a book to read, I usually refer to the word of mouth at amazon and goodreads and the book is fairly well scored. After reading some comments, I was expecting to read a hot & anguish filled story. But it seems I was hoping too much for this one. I don't know there is a clear definition differentiates erotic from porny, but I felt no eroticism in it, but just racy. Also, the language was a great disappointment. Being historical romance, isn't it natural to use more particular voice and vocabularies fitted for the age to create an atmosphere of old days? それとも私の英語力が足りなくて、ヒストリカルな雰囲気をつかめていないのかなあ。 翻訳本が出版されるようですが、短い話、貴族、BDSMやエロがいっぱいってことで選んだのかなあ。こんなにsissyかと思えば、次の瞬間にはbarbaricなほどにboldなキャラを好きなBLファンって、いる？ほかにいくらでも胸キュンキュンなm/mあるのになあ。
